“House of the Moon” was the first of two songs recorded at Fred’s beloved home, which he called Rancho de la Luna, in the summer of 1993, with Hugh Harris. Harris, a British musician, had just had a falling out with his record label, after a tour - and break-up - with the ascending star Sinead O’Connor, and needed a place to go with his house full of recording gear. Harris and his new girlfriend moved in after being introduced to Fred by a mutual friend. The song talks about Fred’s recent move to Joshua Tree and refers to another friend, a drummer named Tonya Jaynes, who had survived a terrible accident some years earlier, with an unbreakable spirit. “They come wearing bright colored clothes which show their scars while their bodies are drumming…”

Lunar Momento is "45 Rev" by Wool. That's cool though. I will always support Pete Stahl and all his projects. I love Scream, Wool, the mighty Goatsnake, and earthlings? richnice1975
