“I Used to Dream About This” (1998) - I remember first hearing this song while staying with my then-partner Elia Arce in Houston, as she worked on a theatrical piece with Immigrant women who were HIV+. A cassette arrived in the mail, with Fred’s handwriting on a label which read Rancho de la Luna, with his trademark doodles of squiggly lines and triangles. Fred’s experimental, ambient music, with his wispy voice as soothing as a gentle desert breeze, was often a combination tenderness and despair, perhaps coming from his own battles with HIV. This song was especially moving to Elia and me, as it seemed to make peace with his illness while conveying the tranquility he had found in his revered desert home.

Lunar Momento is "45 Rev" by Wool. That's cool though. I will always support Pete Stahl and all his projects. I love Scream, Wool, the mighty Goatsnake, and earthlings? richnice1975
